Dr. Muhammad Anwar
Interventional Cardiology
Dr. Muhammad Anwar is board certified in both Cardiovascular Disease and Internal Medicine. He obtained his medical degree at King Edward Medical College. He completed his residency at Metropolitan Hospital Center in New York. He also had a fellowship at that hospital in Cardiovascular Disease and Critical Care. He has been a part of the Heart Clinic since 1986.

Dr. Ahmad Sarwar
Interventional Cardiology
Dr. Ahmad Sarwar obtained his medical degree at the King Edward Medical College. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at Drexel University College of Medicine. He has completed training in Cardiology and sub-specialty training in Interventional Cardiology and Transplant Cardiology at the Baylor College of Medicine-Texas Heart Institute, LSU Health Sciences Center and New York Methodist Hospital-Cornell Heart Center. He has been a part of the Heart Clinic since 2014.
Areebah Anwar
Physicians Assistant
Areebah Anwar was born and raised in Norman, Oklahoma. She completed her Bachelors of Education at the University of Oklahoma (Boomer Sooner!) and then went to complete her masters of Physician Assistant studies at The University of Oklahoma’s PA program in Tulsa, Oklahoma, graduating in 2019. She has experience working in pulmonary/critical care as well as inpatient/outpatient cardiology. She has been a part of the Heart Clinic since 2025.
